Searching eBay with sold data

Filters, the scorecard and the badges on every result, and how to read them.

Search runs a live search of eBay listings and adds what eBay's own search page doesn't show: how many each listing has sold, risk badges and a summary of the results.

Filters

Search by keyword, or by barcode (GTIN/EPID), then narrow down with category, condition, price range, buying format (Buy It Now, auctions), item location, delivery country, returns accepted, brand, listings with variations, and seller details: minimum feedback score and percentage, business or private seller (eBay UK), or specific sellers to include or exclude.

Set your usual market and filters once in Settings → Product Research and every new search starts with them. Quick presets fill common combinations in one click.

The scorecard

Above the results, the scorecard summarises the page you're looking at: average price, units sold across these listings, estimated revenue, the share of listings that have sold at least once, and the top sellers by units sold. It describes this set of results, not all of eBay. That makes it ideal for comparing two keywords side by side.

Reading each result

  • Sold: the listing's lifetime total, summed across variations (hover ⓘ for the breakdown). See How SoldPulse's sold numbers work.
  • VeRO risk: the brand is on eBay's list of rights owners who report listings. Treat it as a stop sign unless you're authorised. The list isn't complete, so no badge doesn't guarantee safety.
  • Restricted keyword: the title contains a term eBay restricts.
  • Dropshipper: the item ships from China or Hong Kong, a common sign of dropshipping (eBay doesn't reveal the actual supplier).
  • Check: counts how many active listings compete for that keyword.

Handy extras

  • Filter the loaded results by words in the title, item location, dropshippers only, or hide VeRO risks, without running a new search.
  • Re-search by title reruns the search using one listing's exact title, a quick way to find near-identical products.
  • Track sends a listing to Tracked Products; Export CSV downloads the current page; Copy shareable link shares your filters with a colleague (they need their own login).
  • Save a search to rerun it later from the sidebar.

Column sorting reorders the page you've loaded. To see different listings, change the filters or the sort order at the top, which asks eBay for a different set.
