eBay buyers search with keywords, and your title is most of what eBay matches them against. Title Builder starts from one keyword and shows you the words and phrases used by listings that actually sell, so your 80 characters go on terms buyers type.
How it works
Enter a seed keyword (for example bamboo bath mat) and pick your market. Title Builder takes a sample of 40 current listings for it and breaks their titles into words and phrases. Choose Best Match or Newest to change which 40 it looks at.
What you get
- Keyword tables: words that appear with your seed keyword, longer phrases, and general terms, each with how often it appears and the combined sold total of the listings that use it. Press Check on any keyword to see how many listings compete for it.
- Price bands: the sample split into five price ranges, with units sold and the share of listings with at least one sale in each. It shows which price range is moving units, so you can pitch your price where buyers are.
- Top-selling titles: the best-selling real titles in the sample, each with a copy button, as examples to learn from.
Build your title
- Start with the exact product: what it is, in the words buyers use (from the top of the keyword table).
- Add the attributes buyers filter on: brand (if you're allowed to use it), size, colour, material, quantity.
- Use the remaining characters for high-selling phrases that describe your item truthfully.
- Skip filler like "L@@K", "WOW" or repeated words: they waste space and eBay ignores them.
Depending on your plan, AI buttons can combine the top-selling titles into one new title, or rewrite yours into several options. Results are always kept within eBay's 80-character limit. Read them before using: you know your product, the AI doesn't.
Never copy a competitor's title word for word, and don't use brand names you aren't allowed to sell. Check the VeRO badge in Search first.
